Andrea Comastri is Associate Astronomer and leads the high‐energy group at the Bologna Observatory and University Department.
He has been working in the field of extragalactic high energy and multi wavelength surveys since 1996. He is PI of the deep XMM survey in the COSMOS field, the largest XMM program ever approved, the chairman of the AGN Working Group of the COSMOS survey, and co‐I of the ultra‐deep (4 Ms) Chandra survey in the CDFS.
