A variety of statistical indicators will be used to explore the properties of high-redshift galaxies and AGNs based on the scientific analysis of the unique data set produced by the Astrodeep project.
ASTRODEEP is a coordinated and comprehensive program of i) algorithm/software development and testing; ii) data reduction/release, and iii) scientific data validation/analysis aimed at making Europe the world leader in the exploitation of the deepest multi-frequency astronomical survey data.We present a new method to classify the broad-band optical–near-infrared spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of galaxies using three shape parameters (super-colours) based on a principal component analysis of model SEDs. The method was applied to galaxies in the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope Infrared Deep Sky Survey Ultra Deep Survey with 0.9 < z < 1.2, and confirm our classifications by stacking rest-frame optical spectra for a fraction of objects in each class.

We present the public release of the catalogues of X-ray counterparts of the CANDELS sources. The catalogue includes the results X-ray PSF-fitting at the position of known CANDELS GOODS-S sources using the 4 Ms CDFS data. We include X-ray photometry, photometric redshifts and selection function derived from simulations. This catalog increases of about 30% the number of known sources in the field.We present the public release of the first complete catalogues of Frontier Fields Abell-2744 and MACSJ-0416 cluster and parallel pointings. The catalogues include multi-band photometry (8 HST bands, deep Ks from the HAWK-I FF program, and Spitzer-IRAC 3.6 and 4.5 um), magnification, photometric redshifts and rest-frame properties, plus a variety of diagnostic information
One of the main Astrodeep goals is to update existing algorithms and if necessary develop new software to create high quality multi-wavelength catalogs extracted from both space and ground-based datasets. In this section you will be able to download all new software developed by Astrodeep members.
"EGG": the Empirical Galaxy Generator - Builds your own Universe during the coffee break. A new tool designed within the ASTRODEEP collaboration to generate arbitrarily large mock galaxy catalogs with realistic fluxes and morphologies. New software to be used for the generation of realistic simulated images, including sources and a non-correlated noise map. It has been used extensively for the simulation of HST and IRAC synthetic images.
In this section, you can find all latest results and delivered data products of the Astrodeep project, that will be mainly addressed to the astronomical community, as well as dissemination meterial appropriately adjusted for the general public.
This international meeting is organized under the auspices of the ASTRODEEP project and is devoted to discuss the legacy of the Great Observatories (in orbit and on the ground) in the study of high redshift galaxies. We aim at bringing together members of the CANDELS and the GOODS-Herschel collaborations, as well as external scientists interested in the topics, to present their latest results and the perspectives for the next future. The goal of the CDS interface is to provide access to ASTRODEEP data, but also to bring added value to the data itself thanks to interoperable tools allowing seamless linking between the different kinds of data : images, catalogues, spectra, photometric redshift.
